Lost a Pet

If your pet is wearing identification with your phone number Lodi Animal Services or someone who found your pet may call you.   If your pet is chipped and it’s picked up by Lodi Animal Services, they may use the contact information the chip to get in touch. Note that Lodi Animal Services will hold your pet for 5 days while they try to locate the owner. After 5 days, your pet may be placed up for adoption.

Contact the Lodi Animal Shelter by phone: 209-333-6741 or email: AnimalServices@Lodi.gov as soon as possible. Lodi's Animal Service Officers pick-up lost pets every day, and they may have already picked up yours. You can check out Animal Service Reports on Lodi411 to review Lodi Animal Service calls from yesterday through the past 30 days.

If they do not have your pet, file a lost dog/lost cat report with Lodi Animal Services using the phone and email links above. You can also check out the information below to explore area shelters and list your pet on Facebook groups and pet locator websites.

If your animal is microchipped, contact the company and report the animal lost.
